Anti-Harassment Policy

The International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA) is dedicated to providing a harassment-free community for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, age or skill level. We the Board would like to state plainly and clearly that the safety and comfort of all of our members is very important to us.

We do not tolerate harassment in any form. This policy pertains to any ISCA-sanctioned event, workshop, or gathering, whether in person or in virtual space. This includes the annual ISCAcon, the ISCA Discord Server,, as well as posts or comments on any ISCA-affiliated social media groups or pages. Harassment includes but is not limited to: deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of events, inappropriate physical contact, unwelcome sexual attention (including non-consensual sexual depictions in a piece of art and/or the sharing of such art) and derogatory verbal, written, or illustrated commentary related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, age, or skill level. Members asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

ISCA members, guests, speakers, staff and organizers alike violating these rules are subject to membership termination and may be expelled from the social media channels and/or events (without refund) at the discretion of the ISCA Board of Directors. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed or have any other concerns, please contact a board member or volunteer immediately. At ISCAcon, Board members will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. We value your membership.
