Are you kidding?!?! People pay me money to draw silly pictures of themselves. YES! Being a caricature artist/cartoonist IS the greatest job ever. Okay, being the head taste tester at Ben & Jerry's is the best job ever but doing caricatures is a really close second (except for that "...so how long have you been doing this?" question).

I guess you could say that I was born very young. Tragically as the years passed I grew older and older until now . . . well now I'm really old -like 50 or something. I'm a lifer when it comes to drawing cartoons having emerged from the womb with a freshly sharpened #2 pencil in my right hand (I find thinking of BBQ chicken fresh off the grill gets the nasty image out of my head).

In all seriousness I have been illustrating professionally since 1983, drawing for a variety of clients including Perry Ellis America (East & West Coast Divisions), 19th Star, Disney, Klipsch, Starlog and Brainstorm Magazines (just to name a few). I started drawing caricatures in 1995.

Unfortunately I'm not all that funny but I do draw that way. I am a father of 4 great kids and married to the hottest redhead on the planet earth.
