Kamal is the principal artist of Cartoon.SG, a professional caricature service for Singapore and international clients.

A Singaporean artist and art-educator, he is a multi-disciplined painter with specialty in various mediums, ranging from traditional craft such as batik to contemporary fine art and caricatures.

Having a portfolio-career in visual arts since 1994, Kamal is an associate faculty at SIM university and is an appointed Art Enrichment provider for Singapore schools by the National Arts Council with proprietary programmes in: Cartoon/Caricature drawing; Batik painting; Graffiti mural art; Watercolor and ink techniques.

Kamal attained his Master of Arts degree in Contemporary Practice from the University of Huddersfield(UK) in 2007.
