As far back as I can remember, I have been drawing. I painted my first mural for my High School Graduating class in "1962.
I drew caricatures and portraits for friends in the mid "1960's while in the USAF, and also cartoons for the base newspaper. I have been drawing caricatures for over 45 years. I started doing Art & Craft shows in the early "1970's"
I did the Arts and Crafts circuit for quite a few years. Now, I only do contracted events, studio work, cartooning and book illustration. I had no formal art training until the early 1970's when I attended West Virginia State College. I do Caricatures and Art work from my home in Charleston, WV. I also travel just about anywhere there is a demand for my Caricatures. I have drawn caricatures at events all over WV, and many times at The Greenbrier Resort, and many other States. I average 12 to 15 caricatures per hour. (faces only) I draw exclusively with Sharpie Markers. I plan to draw Caricatures as long as I am physically able. " Maybe to Infinity and beyond."
