Dori Czaja is a professional caricaturist, available for party work and commissions. She is an active member of the NCN, and was voted best new artist at the 1997 convention. Her design for the US postal Service/ Special Olympics World Games Pictorial Cancellation was a first place winner in 1995. Dori is a popular attraction at all kinds of parties and events. Since she is an elementary school art teacher, she has a special affinity for kids. Her corporate clients include Duracell, Travelers, Hiram Walker and the Greater Hartford Arts Council. Private parties include weddings, birthdays, etc. Other venues include schools, recreation depts., retirement homes, libraries and civic celebrations.
Dori holds a masters degree and teaches part time, allowing her to pursue her interest in caricature. She lives in eastern Connecticut with her partner, Bill Dougal.
