Bill Dougal has been drawing caricatures professionally for more than two decades. A member of the NCN since 1992, he was voted 2nd fastest in 1993, and was voted into the top ten Caricaturists of the Year in 1995. Speed and quality make Bill a popular attraction at all kinds of parties and events. Businesses use caricatures for grand openings, trade shows, client or employee appreciation parties, etc. Bill's corporate clients include Aetna, Travelers, WTIC FM, and the greater Hartford Arts Council. Private parties include weddings, birthdays, etc. Other venues include schools, recreation depts., retirement homes, libraries and civic celebrations. Bill's caricature and cartoon style illustrations have been published in the Hartford Courant, Hartford News, The Valley Book and numerous advertising pieces. A fun, informative presentation on cartooning is available via Bill's cartooning classes. Bill teaches illustration at Manchester Community College. Bill holds a BFA from the Hartford Art School, and lives in eastern Connecticut.
