	<title><![CDATA[TOP TEN Most Interesting Faces of 2009]]></title>

We asked members of the International Society of Caricature Artists for
their professional opinion as to which famous people had the most
interesting faces to draw in 2009. Several lists of famous names were
submitted by the end of November. The ISCA board compiled those lists
and discussed who should make the final cut. Members donated one of
their existing pieces or created a new one just for this special, year-
end list.


Nancy Pelosi - The U.S. Speaker of the House isn’t liked by
too many conservatives in D.C. or around the country. Her face has
become their poster child for all things liberal.


Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger - Heroic American airline pilot. His
actions say, "competent and heroic". His facial features say, "Mr.
Drucker from Petticoat Junction".

	<title><![CDATA[NCN Announces 2008 Award Winners]]></title>

Raleigh, NC-- November, 2008 -- 180 artists in the National Caricaturist Network competed for the prestigious Golden Nosey award at the 17th annual convention in Raleigh, North Carolina, November 2nd -November 7th, 2008.  The convention attracted over 200 attendees representing 10 countries, ranging from professional artists to caricature enthusiasts.  They flooded the ballroom of the Brownstone Holiday Inn near the campus of North Carolina State University.


	
Artists at the convention displayed their skills as they competed for the Caricaturist of the Year award (a gold statuette known as the Golden Nosey), as well as competing in a variety of specialized categories such as best likeness, best portfolio, best color technique, and Caricature of the Year.
