I began drawing at a young age but it wasn't until 1984 that I pursued my artwork as a hobby beginning with a pastel portrait of my 5 year old daughter. In 1987, I remarried and moved to Baton Rouge, LA for two years to work where I studied under Larry Casso at Baton Rouge FIne Arts Academy and pursued a new passion-watercolor.
Several years later after moving back to Houston, I took a caricature class with Texas Tim and began to take an interest in caricature drawing . Though I dabbled in it off and on along with other creative art mediums, it wasn't until 2009, when I attended the International Caricaturist Society Convention that I was really hooked. After being laid off in 2010 from my real job I started my second career. Though i"m newer to the caricature scene, i'm not a novice in bringing out one's best side and making the experience a delight :D
