Dimitris was born in Athens and started working as an artist in 1992. He studied for three years at the Ornerakis School of Art, followed by another three years of animation studies at North Wales University in the UK. Upon completion of that course, he returned to Greece where he started working with the Greek animation studio "Time Lapse Pictures" in several animation projects.
