Buddy Rose is Founder of the National Caricaturist Network. Buddy
trained several hundred professionals in the art of caricaturing,
designed, edited and published thirteen quarterly issues of the NCN
newsletter, planned and coordinated four international conventions,
competitions, workshops, meetings and related social events, and
authored the NCN constitution. He designed and produced bus mural
graphics for Coca Cola, designed and produced mural graphics for radio
stations, KZPS and KEGL in Dallas, TX., illustrated several magazine
covers for Nevada Gaming Journal, demonstrated with caricature
illustrations the first telephone facsimile machine for RCA Global
Communications at the International Telecommunications Convention in
Geneva, Switzerland in 1979.
Buddy also designed and constructed the world’s largest hand carved chess set for Dr. Wallace Frasier, and created hundreds of other fine art projects for private commissions. Performed caricatures at numerous major events throughout America and Europe drawing more than half a million caricatures, Buddy produces a live multi-toned caricature in four minutes or less. Buddy also teaches school.
